...it took some time, but mostly because I kept on going places. Good news: my contribution is now done, and this book is ready to go!
Biggest challenge was to realize that Brandt was an artist who worked with metal, so I had to ask myself: can my design be fabricated? With some tweaking, yes, I believe so. I borrowed the imagery of deer, but decided against the symmetry that is found in the majority of Brandt's work. This was a fun challenge :)

This is great. I really like the clean lines !
That is...delicious. I love it. That red is so rich. Can't wait to see it. These books are really an amazing sight. Anyone else have an update for the month?
Gorgeous! I think Brandt book is one of most complicated - and your entry is sooo beautiful!!!
Thanks, everyone!
Actually I think Alechinsky is the hardest, followed by Arcimboldo - I am really at the loss for ideas for those two, and it's not even my turn yet!!!!!!!
Oh wow! Warm rich red...! Gorgeous design! Elegant deer! Wonderful!!! This looks indeed like one of the hardest books for me as well, and I'm a bit stressed for the Arcimboldo as well!
Oh, please do not be stressed about the Arcimboldo book. I will really be happy to have something in it from another artist. Have fun with it, please!
Also....I have some fun ideas ready for this one. We recently went to San Francisco and I took over 50 pictures of the different gates. They were so ornate and plentiful. Looking forward to this!
Gorgeous work Albina.

Gosh, now I can see what I have been missing! I love this entry and I simply love how you guys are developing the story of Brandt! Thank you all.
